The Treatment has begun.

Since I can't stand listening to Obama talk because it always looks like he just had a grape popiscle I figured this would be a good time to make a post. I'd rather watch hair grow for four months than listen to that clown speak for an hour plus Peolsi and Michelle Obama scare.

Well the rogaine treatment started last Saturday and from what I can tell it is going very well. I use the foam two time day, in the morning and before I go to bed at night. The hardest thing about using rogaine foam is getting the cap off because it's all child proof. It took me a good ten minutes to figure out how to get it off the first time. Since then I have not put the cap back on because of it's difficulty. Also I have to make sure my hands are run under cold water before I put the foam in or else the foam will melt on my hand not on my head. It can be a little tricky to use if you have an IQ under 90. After I put a half a cap full on my hand I massage it on the balding spot in my head which generally takes a good 2 minutes and 8 seconds. I also make sure I wash my hands after use it because of all the chemicals involved.

I am really interested to see what kind of progress if any has been made after the first month of use. It has already had a psychological effect because it does feel like I have more hair on my head. I suggest that anyone looking to regrow hair you should use Rogaine. The only problem is that it is expensive to buy directly from rogaine's site, so you should use overstock.com because it is about $15 cheaper and you don't have to pay any taxes on it. I will be posting some pictures later on this week to see if any growth has occurred.

Shipment Confirmed

The start of me stopping my male pattern baldness may be underway by this weekend. It will be a day of infamy. A day where my hair will stop rejecting me and finally start to grow again. I received an email last night from the kind people at Rogaine that my 3 month supply has been shipped. UPS is the carrier of choice it appears and the package it currently making its way west. As of 9pm tonight the shipment as left the Maumee, Ohio facility. Not sure where in Ohio it is, but I do know that we are only two states apart. I am estimating that I will receive the package either this Friday or Saturday. Either way the end of baldness will start this weekend!

The bald Spot

As you all can see that is my bald spot right now and you can definitely tell that my hair is thinning up top. This is the before picture and will be used to compare future pictures to see if Rogaine Foam actually works. They say it revitalizes hair growth for 85% of all men and I hope that I'm one of them.

Step One: Admitting that you're actually going bald.

I am new to the blogging world as some would say. I have decided to document my experience about using Rogaine foam. Some many people have been interested in my hair loss over the years, so I figured that all those people will interested my attempt to regrow hair. Mostly likely I will give biweekly updates on my hair growth progress as I'm sure many of you will be greatly anticipating.

Well, the first step in trying to regrow your hair is admitting that your actually going bald and I did that today. I ordered a 3 month supply of Rogaine Foam and it should have it within 2-3 business weeks. A little background on my hair loss, I believe it started back in freshmen year when people started telling me that I was going bald. I didn't really believe me or pay many a lot of attention to it because I refused to believe. In fact went I one year without getting a haircut and finally caved in around Thanksgiving break sophomore year of college. It was actually nice having that much hair and people telling me how badly I needed it cut. That had never happened to me before. It was more of that I needed to grow hair instead of getting it cut.

Nowadays, I get my haircut probably every 3-4 months which actually surprises many people. The people on Jersey Shore would definitely be shocked at that. I usually get it cut once a season, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. So what I spend on haircuts in a year, the guys on Jersey shore probably spend in a week. My barber is actually really nice because he has never mention my bald spot or pointed it out to me while getting a haircut. He usually combs my hair up and he never shows me the bald spot when he puts the mirror in back of my head. Maybe he's actually part of the problem now that I think about it.

Well, I will probably be posting pictures of the infamous bald spot later and you will all see it and see how well Rogaine foam actually works.
